ARTIST BIO
After having worked in the field of public education for over 35 years, I am now devoting myself fulltime to making art. I studied at NYU, the Art Students' League, NYC; Women’s Studio Workshop, Rosendale, NY; and the Center for Digital Storytelling, Berkley, CA. and with Pat Hickman. I hold an MS in Art Education from NYU and a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Studies from the Union Institute, 2004. My dissertation was: “Disrupting What is Happening: Women Make Art to Transform Themselves and Their Schools”.
